Autumn Inspiration and Autumn Art

Some folks think that the only things that inspire art are the visual. The other day I made an apple crisp dessert and it made the house smell like my nana's house from the 1970's. The colors, smells, comforts, and sounds of her and her home came back and it inspires me in a different way than just looking at the colors of fall. When working on your creative side, look and feel all the senses around you for your inspiration, no matter where or when they come from.
For me, it is an experience. The first time I saw autumn leaves was riding in my aunt’s ragtop in Amish country. I can feel the chilly breeze as we drove on country roads. I was a Florida kid and never imagined the colors .
